Our key supporters have played a vital role in assisting the women and their families.

This has helped the team to achieve their greatest milestone of playing their first International match representing their country where the Afghanistan Women’s XI played a 20-over exhibition match against Cricket Without Borders at Melbourne’s Junction Oval on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

This match was not only a sporting event but also a statement—a message to the world that Afghan women, despite oppression, refuse to be silenced. It served as a beacon of hope, proving that they still have a place in cricket and a future in the sport.

We are grateful for their continued support which is essential for the success of this initiative and the future of these women and their families.
