Special Iftar dinner with the High Commissioner of India and officials from the Indian High Commission

The India High Commission presented a certificate of appreciation to representatives of the Afghanistan National Women's cricket team at an event to commemorate International Women’s Day.  The award represents the acknowledgment of the  remarkable story of courage, determination, resilience, and excellence of the Afghan women cricketers. It also highlighted the special bonds cherished between the peoples of India and Afghanistan especially in international communities.

The team is extremely grateful to the Indian High Commission for their warm reception of the team and their acknowledgment of their sacrifices, struggles, and dedication. This type of kindness and support is a powerful source of strength and motivation for the team to continue on the path they truly believe in and the encouragement inspires the team to push forward with greater determination for excellence on and off the field.
